Hello Everyone,

My name is Alma Miller and I thrilled to begin my second year here at CCS! The counseling office is located in the Portables (P204) directly across the band hall. Feel free to stop in and say hello!

A bit about myself; I completed my undergraduate work at Liberty University and received my Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Counseling with a minor in Crisis Counseling. I also have a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. Before joining the CCS team, I worked in a variety of areas providing counseling services which included work in private practice settings, a faith based crisis pregnancy center, and in earlier years, I worked in a child learning center.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family; my husband and I together have five children ranging in ages between 23 and 9 years old. I love traveling and big family trips, serving in the adult ministries department at Cornerstone Church, sharing about and supporting our boys’ home, Protect and Care Ministries, in Bangalore, India and I love cheering on our San Antonio Spurs! I also have a 'thing' for the "&" sign. Perhaps I can share that story another time.

It is a privilege to be part of the CCS family and I am thankful for the opportunity to work with such amazing students and families! If you have comments, questions, or concerns, please feel free to reach me at 210.979.9203 extension  1831 or by email at alma.miller@sa-ccs.org.
